Your workshop is in a town, not a metro — the courier pickup question is different here. The small-town seller's shipping reality: what's available, what isn't, and how to work it.

The pickup reality

Major couriers' pickup networks concentrate in cities — daily pickups in metros, scheduled or on-request in smaller towns, sometimes 'drop it at our counter' in villages. Check serviceability for your pickup pincode explicitly — the same carrier that picks up in Pune might not in Pandharpur.

The counter-drop routine

Where pickup doesn't exist, the model inverts — you carry parcels to the courier's local office/counter. It works: parcels enter the same network, just through the front door instead of a rider. The routine is a daily or alternate-day drop run.

India Post's rural advantage

The postal network was built for rural India — post offices exist where courier offices don't. Speed Post and parcel services accept bookings at any post office; for sellers beyond courier pickup range, the post office is often the real answer.

The growing coverage

As e-commerce pushes deeper, pickup coverage follows — networks add towns quarterly. A pincode unserved today may serve next year; recheck serviceability periodically rather than assuming yesterday's no is permanent.

Pure Parcel runs the whole stack described here — one place for every carrier.
